Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Master’s Degree in School Psychology, or related field.· Experience working with a diverse population of students, ages 3-5 years, with IEPS that need various levels of support.· Experience working and communicating with children that are non-verbal.· Experience connecting with students’ caregivers to provide a home-school connection for behavioral support.· Ability to coach and collaborate with classroom teachers in the areas of challenging behavior, social emotional development, relationship building, and trauma informed care.· Thorough knowledge of early childhood development, behavioral theory, and early childhood education.· Working knowledge of Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports.· Experience writing functional behavioral assessments (FBA), collecting, analyzing and interpreting data, and writing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIP).· Excellent communication and documentation skills.Classroom Collaborationo Work closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and other staff to address the behavioral needs of individual students.o Support teachers in initial and ongoing behavioral data collection.o Schedule and coordinate meetings with therapists and teaching staff to discuss behavioral concerns and to create an action plan of support for the classroom.o Provide written documentation of work being done on a case-by-case basis.· Work alongside the School Psychologist to conduct behavioral evaluations including creating functional behavioral assessments (FBA), collecting and analyzing data, and, when appropriate, creating and implementing behavioral intervention plans (BIP).· Supervise support staff in the implementation of positive behavior supports.· Train teachers and staff in implementing a tiered-level of behavioral support.· Support teachers in planning of the social-emotional component of the curriculum.· Regularly meet with administration, the social worker, and school psychologist to collaborate in planning, implementing, and reporting of on-going work.· Follow Therapy and Learning Center’s Policies and Procedures.
