The Children's Center of United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island located in Commack, New York is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist. Experience working with the pediatric population a plus, however, new grads will be considered. Must work well with other clinicians, teachers, parents and physicians, Excellent communication skills necessary. Applicants should be creative, flexible and willing to learn.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide developmental and educationally based intervention to improve safety and independenceData input into secure, computerized systems for reports and billingAttend weekly scheduled team meetings with Educational Staff and other cliniciansAttend Parent Team meetings and on occasion attend School District meetings via phoneNYS Licensure in Occupational Therapy required
