Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Manager /Staff Accountant to join Administrative team. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization’s financial health by managing core accounting functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong technical accounting skills, and possess a passion for accuracy and efficiency. As a key player in our operations, you will help maintain the integrity of our financial data and support strategic decision-making. You will also assist in building management, ensuring the health, sanitary, safety and security standards at TLC are met, DOH OSHA, etc. Responsibilities Consult with Executive Director on proposed annual budget forecasting. . Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of financial statements and CFR. Responsible for creating and maintaining the agency's fiscal transactions and preparation of the fiscal statement. Prepare quarterly and year -end financial management reports for the Board of Directors. Generate monthly Enhancement Program invoices. Generate committee for Pre-Scholl Special Education (CPSE) STAC-5 invoices. Generate CPSE invoices. Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. Generate GL accounts and charge expenses accordingly. Maintain vendor records onSage 50 Peachtree Program. Support payroll management activities using ADP Verify and issue 1099 payments. Generate General Ed 2 month Ensure health, sanitary, safety and security standards at TLC are met Ensure building maintenance/permit concerns are addressed in a timely fashion Secure insurance and other certifications Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance, or a related field is required. Proven experience in a school environments is highly desirable. Experience with payroll management systems like ADP Experience handling account reconciliation processes for balance sheets and general ledger accounts. Excellent mathematical skills coupled with the ability to analyze financial data accurately; proficiency in financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, budgeting, credit analysis and account analysis is essential.
