The UPK Teacher is responsible to develop and provide instruction to meet the needs of each child in the class while implementing curriculum that is compatible with the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards and the New York State Early Learning Guidelines. In addition, the teacher is responsible for ongoing evaluation and assessment of each student’s progress during the school year.We require a bachelor's degree in Education and NYS Professional Certification in Early Childhood Education B-2 or equivalent. We prefer a minimum of 1 years' experience.This position is a 10 month position, however, opportunity for placement during VCLC's 6-week Special Education summer-session may be available. During the summer session you would be assigned as a Floating Substitute Teacher, or, Teacher Assistant.Salary: $36,485.00 - $42,000.00 (Annual wage based on 10 months)Apply on OLAS
