Duties: Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for an ENL Career Academy Principal to oversee the daily activities and operations within our ENL programs. Main duties include supporting and advising students, approving teachers' curriculums, and ensuring the school environment is safe for all students and staff members while interfacing with our component districts regarding our ENL program, and other duties as assigned.Qualifications: SDL, SBL, or School Administrative Certification required.Characteristics Desired: Preferred candidate should have experience working with an ENL student population, possess strong leadership skills, be adept at building relationships with people while being fair and consistent, as well as organized and prepared. Candidate should be an excellent listener and a visionary. Must have a positive, can-do attitude and unwavering commitment to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
