Duties: Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program for students with disabilities from July 1, 2026 through August 11, 2026.Bus Driver duties may include but are not limited to:Drives school bus for student field trips, special events, internship opportunities, and when transportation is needed between BOCES buildings/campuses;Maintains upkeep of school buses, cleans the floor and windows, empties wastebaskets, and removes any garbage left behind.To begin July 1, 2026 (Only those who can work the full 6-week program and those who are available to attend the ESY Orientation on June 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM need apply).Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of all safety practices required of position and the traffic laws that apply to School Bus Drivers. Must have valid New York State Department of Motor Vehicles CDL license and meet civil service requirements.Characteristics Desired: Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
