Malverne School District anticipates a full time leave replacement position for the 2025-2026 school year.REQUIREMENTS: Valid NYS Teacher certification in Students with Disabilities (1-6)Full NYS fingerprint clearance ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Plan and teach specially designed instruction to students with disabilities based on the needs identified on the IEP. This would include integrated co-teaching classes and special education classes.Create IEPs focusing on student strength and developing measurable goals.Participate in department, school, district meetings and professional development activities.Foster and maintain effective communication with parents/guardians/caretakers.Establish a positive classroom environment through proactive methods, a clear management system, and strong student rapport.Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Chairperson, Principal, or other appropriate administrator.
