The Malverne School District is seeking an experienced teacher for a substitute teacher position in Living Environment and Science 7 beginning in February of 2023 through June of 2023. REQUIREMENTS: Valid NYS Teacher certification in Biology 7-12ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Plan and teach highly engaging, academically rigorous Living Environment lessons and Science 7 aligned with Malverne’s standards and progressive pedagogical philosophy.Demonstrate scientific concepts using models, available technology, and other standard or teacher-prepared instructional aids.Maintain accurate and complete records of student’s progress and development.Foster and maintain effective communication with parents or guardians.
