Elmsford Union Free School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of our elementary students. This teacher will implement engaging and differentiated instruction aligned with the New York State Learning Standards Instructional Delivery:Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.Implement a balanced literacy approach, focusing on phonics, reading comprehension, writing, and language development.Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including small group instruction, hands-on activities, and technology integration.Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and use data to inform instruction.Foster a love of learning and cultivate critical thinking skills..Preferred Qualifications:Bilingual in Spanish and English, with demonstrated proficiency in both languages.Experience working with diverse student populations.Experience with the workshop model.
