TITLE: Business & Industry Trainer (Welding) Affiliation: None Part-Time, Hourly Position, Up to 20 hours per week Adult Education Department Location: TST BOCES, various Adult Education Sites DUTIES: Must be able to explain and teach adult students from various backgrounds, cultures, ages and experience levels and provide comprehensive Welding instruction in theories and technical applications. The position involves teaching and evaluating students in concepts and welding procedures as well as performing related work as required.Responsible for all aspects of teaching including but not limited to the instruction of:-Stick welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, Blazing welding, Plasma arc welding and Gas weldingAccurately maintain all necessary records. Does other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: *Two (2) years Welding experience is required. *Adult Teaching experience is preferred.*Effective written and verbal communication skills, and public relations skills are desired New York State Teaching Certification and experience teaching adults is preferred. START DATE: 2/1/23 SALARY: $44.22 per/hour.
