Duties:Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for an Executive Principal to supervise and provide leadership and supervision of our CTE programs. Responsibilities include teacher evaluations, instructional leadership, facilitation of meetings, staffing, and student discipline. Work collaboratively with the Director of CTE and provide general supervision/support of the Career Academy Principal. Collaborate with component school districts to provide quality experiences and programming for students. Salary range: $145,000-$156,000Qualifications:School Administrative Certification required.Characteristics Desired:Candidate should possess an understanding of CTE. Preferred candidate should have experience working at a Tech center, possess strong leadership skills, be adept at building relationships with people while being fair and consistent, as well as organized and prepared. Candidate should be an excellent listener and a visionary. Must be a team player and willing to work with the Director of CTE and Career Academy Principal in molding an evolving program. Can network and build relationships with our various districts and their administrative and guidance teams.
