Duties: CITs work closely with Lead and Assistant Counselors to: Set up each morning and clean up at the end of each day Assist campers during activities and participate/lead as you are comfortable/makes sense Encourage campers to participate in scheduled activities Eat lunch with campers and staff Assist with any other daily camp activities that the counselors deem necessary (this could include escorting campers to the bathroom, to the main office, retrieving lunches, as well as any other instances where the counselor cannot leave the group). Help supervise campers throughout the full camp day (activities, transitions, lunch, water play, etc.) Support positive behavior management and reinforce camp expectations Help maintain a safe and inclusive camp environment Model enthusiasm, responsibility, and respect for nature Participate in staff meetings and training sessions Camp runs Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
