As part of OLAS for K-12 Education's service, we maintain a directory of experienced school leaders that are available for interim school human resources leader assignments with participating schools and districts across New York state and the surrounding areas of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont. These experienced administrators play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition during the search for a permanent school human resources leader and have varied responsibilities as defined by the participating school or district with the need. Responsibilities for the role of interim school human resources leader, may include but are not limited to: • Oversee employee recruitment and hiring processes • Maintain and manage employee records • Supervise the administration of benefits and payroll • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations • Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and training programs • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures • Support organizational goals through strategic HR planning Qualifications for the role of interim school human resources leader, may include but are not limited to: • NYS School Administrator Certificate (SDL/SDA) or pending reciprocity • Previous experience as a successful school human resources leader • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently Note: This posting is not an offer of employment.
