POSITION: Teacher’s Aide POSITION STATUS: Probationary LOCATION: Mamaroneck Avenue School SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week WORK HOURS: 8am – 3:30pm SUPERVISOR: Building Assistant Principal DATE POSITION IS AVAILABLE: Immediately RESPONSIBILITIES – General Education Aide: Support of students in and out of the classroomCollaboration with other staff members on behalf of the student’s successMonitor the health and well-being of studentsEffectively communicate with classroom teacher and administrationAssist classroom teacher as neededSupervise students during lunch/recessOther duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with children of all ages COMPENSATION: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teacher Aides Unit.Salary range: $25,689 - $29,948
