Katonah-Lewisboro School DistrictAnnounces the Following Anticipated VacancyFor the 2022-2023 School Year Tenure Track Position in ENLJohn Jay Middle School Qualifications: NYS certification in TESOL Responsibilities include: Providing stand-alone and integrated instruction to ELLs, as per NYSED guidelines; Providing modifications and accommodations to curriculum, resources and assessments; Communicating and collaborating with families; Providing translation support to families and faculty; Working with colleagues to provide a culturally responsive curriculum and school climate; Attending to the social emotional wellness of students; Collaborating with ENL teachers, other faculty, and administrators to support English Language Learners (ELLs) in all areas; Coordinating with administrators and ENL colleagues to administer, score and analyze the NYSITELL and NYSESLAT.
