Do you enjoy working with preschool-aged children with a range of abilities and needs, in a highly collaborative and fun team setting? Jowonio is seeking a special education teacher to teach part time in an inclusive program during July and early August, and potentially longer. The job requires creativity, a passion for working with young children, including children with special needs, and some working knowledge of the preschool special education service delivery system in New York State; as well as flexibility and strong communication and team-building skills with adults.Job Type: Monday - Friday days July 5th-August 12th.Salary: The starting salary posted is for a full time position for the 10 month school year; a prorated portion of that salary is paid during the summer. Summer salary, at .65 FTE for the 6 week summer program is $4,570.65Certification: New York State teacher certification required.
