Harmony Heights is a therapeutic special education high school located on Long Island. Harmony Heights is looking for a certified high school special education teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, highly engaging, and student-centered.Candidate must:>Hold a valid and current New York State Special Education teaching certification>Have a strong understanding of differentiation within the high school setting (push-in, pull-out, small group, and lesson differentiation)>Be well versed in the CSE process, reading and following students IEPs, and supporting general education teachers with best practices for individual scholars needsHarmony Heights is a year round school, with a 6 week summer program.
