The Highland Falls Intermediate School is seeking candidates for a probationary Mathematics Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The school district is looking for inspiring educators who can work with our students to accelerate Mathematical understanding and achievement.Successful candidates should have/be:An individual who can uphold our district's core values of Readiness, Inclusion, Social Justice and Empathy;Strong mathematics, curriculum, instruction and assessment skills required;Excellent skills in collaboration with colleagues and leading professional development.Experience providing interventions and related supports that will assure positive academic outcomes for all students;Highly collaborative & collegial;Interdisciplinary and integrative knowledge of mathematics and familiarity with data driven cycles of instruction;Requirements:NYS Mathematics 7-12 certification or NYS Mathematics 5-9 certification is required;NYS SWD Generalist 7-12 is preferred but not required;NYS SWED Generalist 5-9 is preferred but not required;NYSED fingerprint clearance is required.Please submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.
