Director of EnrollmentThe Pinnacle School, a private, special education day school for students in grades 2through 12, seeks a Director of Enrollment for a full-time, school based administrativeposition (12 months).The Pinnacle School enables students with complex learning profiles and secondaryco-occurring needs to thrive through small class sizes, differentiated instruction, activeproblem-solving and relationship building. The school is accredited by the New EnglandAssociation of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is a Connecticut state-approved specialeducation school. Our students are both privately and district placed, and come to us fromConnecticut and New York.Candidates will be joining a skilled and collaborative team of highly trained clinicians andteachers with expertise in special education, school counseling, speech and languagetherapy, occupational therapy, and classroom and behavior management. Pinnacle facultyand staff work tirelessly to support each student to become an enthusiastic learner and anengaged member of the community. We hire accomplished, inspiring people with acombination of teaching experience, advanced degrees, contagious enthusiasm, andengaging communication skills.The Director of Enrollment is responsible for implementing the school’s enrollment goalsand managing the admissions and enrollment process. The Director oversees outreach andmarketing in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to ensure the school’s mission andbrand is accurately communicated to attract and retain new and current families. TheDirector of Enrollment serves as a member of the Leadership Team and collaborates tosupport program development, program assessment, and retention consistent with theschool’s mission and vision. The Director of Enrollment will represent the philosophy andmission of the school at events and in communications, and cultivate strong relationshipswith all constituencies, such as parents, school districts, professional consultants,evaluators, and attorneys.The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:? Bachelor’s degree? Minimum 5 years experience in admissions and enrollment management? Commitment to helping children of all abilities reach their full potential? Ability to direct and manage admissions programs, events and processes forrecruitment and enrollment? Ability to develop strategic enrollment management goals and plans and providetimely reporting and alter strategies and approaches in response to thatinformation? Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, enthusiasticstyle to fit with our small-team environment? Collaborate closely with peers, colleagues and staff within the school community.? Developing marketing materials in print and online media? Strong executive function and project management skills, and the ability to managemultiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously? Passionate about the work and mission, highly organized, and extremelydetail-oriented.? Demonstrate kindness, empathy, respect and a welcoming demeanor to all familiesand students.?
