Spire School in Stamford, CT, is actively recruiting for a Registrar and Database Manager. This is an immediate opening to allow for training in April, May and June 2022. Should a candidate have a contract to complete this school year or be graduating in June alternative training arrangements can be made Spire is a state approved special education program (APSEP) grades 6-12, for students with social and/or emotional challenges that preclude the student’s ability to thrive in a “normal” academic setting. Our model of individualized behavior plans and our small group setting (classes are no more than 6:1 and sometimes smaller) makes us unique and 75% of our students are district placed. QualificationsPreferable to have 6 months to 3 years as a Registrar or Executive Assistant in a school setting Minimum of Bachelor ’s degree Operations Maintains records and completes reports related to NEASC accreditation and State approvalCreates and maintains student and teacher room schedulesResponsible for student admissions and enrollment tasks including requesting records, credit evaluations, family and district communications, course planning, and then transition planning and follow up.Also Responsible for Report cards and TranscriptsProvides support with the student college application process, including standardized testing, parent education, student credit evaluations, district guidance office collaborations and master schedule creationMaintains Professional Development scheduling and trackingAdministers all aspects of Powerschool including training of teachers, administrators, and parentsProvides additional tech support as required for Meet the Teacher, SchoolDocs, Scoir, NEASC & State Approval Portals, Facebook, Instagram and GEG websiteCommunicates important information to faculty, students, and parents through use of Google Calendar, email, andSchool BulletinMaintains and distributes meeting notes for school leadership team, admissions, faculty meetings, case conferences, etc.Manages special events planning, Yearbook and social media support Requirements Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Preferable to be proficient in working with PC software: MS Office, PowerSchool, Google calendar and docs, and LearnspeedMust have well developed executive function skills and be deadline drivenMust have the affinity and ability to be very detail drivenAll applicants for position should apply on OLAS and send a resume, cover letter and 2 references to hr@greenwichedgroup.comThis job closes on September 1, 2022.
