Provide detailed written reports with identified needs and treatment strategies.Develop & Implement Communication Supports – Design, implement, and train staff on the use of linguistically and developmentally appropriate augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools to support student communication.Support Educational Teams – Collaborate with educators and therapists to model and facilitate the use of oral motor techniques, visuals, and language strategies. Help create a consistent, supportive communication environment across settings.Work Collaboratively – Serve as an active member of an interdisciplinary team. Participate in regular meetings, share insights, and contribute to whole-child approaches to care.Engage with Families – Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers to share progress, provide strategies, and support home-school consistency.Support Professional Practice & Compliance – Attend staff development and continuing education programs to stay current. Use universal precautions, ensure student safety, and participate in IEP meetings and hearings when necessary.Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Connecticut State License in Speech-Language Pathology.Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with students, parents, and staff.Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.Ready to Make an Impact?
