Per current FPTA contract; level of education and experience will be considered.This position reports to the Building Principal. The Jr./Sr. High School Science Teacher will be responsible for providing instruction to students in grades 7-12. Preference will be given to candidates who possess experience teaching Physics.The ideal candidate will:Have a strong understanding of best practices for teaching, learning and assessmentUse developmentally appropriate strategies to promote student engagement with the contentCreate a positive learning environmentPossess strong verbal and written communication skillsBuild positive relationships with colleaguesPromote family engagement whenever possible
