Speech Language PathologistThe Fort Plain Central School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist.This is a tenure track position located at Harry Hoag Elementary/ Junior-Senior High School.NY State Certification/licensing required. Previous experience with Special Education and CCC-SLP required.Start date: Spring of 2024 Speech Pathologist Job Duties:The responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be to evaluate the communication and language difficulties of students, along with implementing an Individualized Education Program. They will be able to collaborate with parents and school staff to develop the best course of action for each child. Other responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) attending school meetings and maintaining school equipment and inventory. Good organizational skills are necessary as they will have to keep proper documentation, daily notes, and care plans.
