The ideal candidate will have experience working with students at the high school level. The following skills are required: Experience with school-based counseling for CSE mandated and non-mandated studentsComplete reports for CSE referrals as well as annual review meetingsCommunicate regularly with students, parents, faculty, outside agencies and the Director of Special EducationDevelop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for studentsExperience with transition planning for students with disabilitiesRequirements: Current NYS School Psychologist or School Social Worker certification.Candidates representing diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
