Location: James H Boyd Intermediate (Grades 3-5)Effective: Anticipated November 2024 - January 2025 Description: The Elwood UFSD is seeking a highly qualified/certified Special Education Teacher for a leave replacement at the intermediate school level (3-5). The candidate must have experience working with special education students with varying disabilities. Applicant must have a repertoire of evidence based instructional strategiesRecent experience working with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities Experience implementing ABA programs Possess strong classroom management skillsAbility to use appropriate technologies to support instructional needsKnowledge/experience implementing IEPs Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of studentsCandidate should have good interpersonal, written/oral communication and organizational skills Requir Requirements: NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (grades 1-6), or comparable Compensation: In accordance with the agreement between the District and the Elwood Alliance of TeachersElwood School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer
