Location: Elwood Middle SchooHours: 6.5 paid hours plus an unpaid lunchEffective: October 18, 2024Description: Positions may be in the general education setting, or in an inclusion classroom, or in a 1:1 capacity supporting students with disabilities.Skills Required: The ideal candidate will have recent experience working with children who have learning and/or behavioral challenges. Experience with de-escalating behaviors and data collection preferred. Applicants must be kind, caring, patient and capable of communicating with our students in a positive manner. Qualifications: Current certification as a Teaching Assistant or classroom teacher or eligibility for NYS Teaching Assistant certification. Teaching Certification in Special Education/Students with Disabilities is desirable.
