Brighter Choice Charter School for Boys is seeking dedicated, energetic, and student-centered Teaching Assistants to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Teaching Assistants play a critical role in supporting student achievement and creating a positive school culture. Working alongside classroom teachers and school leaders, Teaching Assistants help provide academic support, reinforce classroom expectations, and build meaningful relationships with scholars. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education, committed to student success, and eager to contribute to a collaborative learning environment. In This Role, You Will: Support classroom instruction and daily learning activities Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic skills Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom resources Help maintain a structured, positive, and engaging learning environment Reinforce school-wide expectations, routines, and procedures Monitor student progress and provide support during intervention and enrichment periods Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and other school activities Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff members Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives Qualities We Seek: STUDENT-CENTERED. We'd Love to Hear From You If You: Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Have experience working with children through schools, tutoring programs, youth organizations, coaching, camps, or community programs Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills Have a passion for supporting student growth and achievement Thrive in a collaborative and mission-driven environment Experience working in urban schools or diverse educational settings is preferred Why Brighter Choice?
