Wheelerville Union Free School is seeking a NYS certified teacher for an elementary position starting immediately. Wheelerville is located in the Adirondack Park and serves students in grades PreK-8th grade. Salary: Per current WUFSTA contract; level of education and experience will be considered The Elementary teacher will be responsible for providing generalized instruction to students in an elementary classroom setting. The candidate must posses:*Strong understanding of best practices for teaching, learning and assessment*Create a positive learning environment*Understand the Science of Reading*Use developmentally appropriate strategies to promote student engagement*Strong verbal and written communication skills*Build positive relationships with colleagues, families, and the community
