ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNS ESY (Extended School Year) SUMMER SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: (Up to 2 positions available) (One position in Regional ESY & one position in Exceptional Ed ESY) Location: TST BOCES Campus, Smith School, 555 Warren Road, Ithaca, NY Limited Term: June 1, 2026 – August 19, 2026 Regional ESY & Exceptional Education Programs run from July 9, 2026-August 19, 2026 Regents Exams are August 18, 2026 & August 19, 2026 (if applicable) QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification in any area, teaching experience, and coursework in educational administration. Excellent communication and organization skills. Knowledge of the New York State Learning Standards. Ability to establish rapport and professional relationships with, support and motivate students, parents, and staff. Experience working with students with special needs is a plus. Teacher must be collaborative, student centered and a creative and effective problem solver. *All staff are required to attend an orientation meeting on June 15th at 4:00pm* HOURS OF WORK: The administrative intern will work during the hours that classes are in session as well as additional hours depending on the needs of the program and internship requirements.
