BUSINESS & INDUSTRY TRAINER: WeldingPart-time, Hourly Position20 hour program - 3-4 times per yearLocation: T-S-T BOCES Campus Adult Education DepartmentMust be able to explain and teach adult students from various backgrounds, cultures, ages and experience levels and provide comprehensive Welding instruction in theories and technical applications. The position involves teaching and evaluating students in concepts and welding procedures as well as performing related work as required.DUTIES:• Responsible for all aspects of teaching including but not limited to the instruction of:o Stick welding,o MIG welding,o TIG welding,o Blazing welding,o Plasma arc welding ,o Gas welding• Accurately maintain all necessary records.• Does other related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years Welding experience is required. Adult Ed Teaching experienceis preferred.
