TITLE: SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST Certified Position Full-time, 10-month position Affiliation: Teacher’s Association Exceptional Education Department Location: Smith School - BOCES Campus DUTIES: Work as an active member of an educational team in a Special Education Setting grades K-12. Consult with teachers, parents, school personnel and other agencies as needed. Provide individual and group counseling as appropriate. Responsible for evaluating students related to intellectual, behavioral, and social/emotional functioning. Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments and facilitate Behavior Intervention Plans. Completion of evaluation records for student files and CSE (Committee on Special Education). Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification as a School Psychologist is required. START DATE: 10/10/22 or asap SALARY: : $50,000.00 (2022-2023 base salary), plus additional salary credit for appropriate prior experience, Masters Degree and Grad Credits.
