TITLE: INSTRUCTIONAL SPECIALIST GENERALIST/DEI Certified Position 10-Month, Full-time Position (190 Days) Affiliation: Non-Affiliated/CertifiedRegional School Success Department Location: J-Building and Various DistrictsPositions follows the 10-month school calendar plus through the end of June. Works 190 days and does not accrue vacation days. DUTIES:•Collaborates with various educational stakeholders, such as teachers, administrators, related service and para-professionals, students, and community members to enhance local and regional capacity to provide an equitable educational experience for students.•Plan and deliver data-informed professional learning in a variety of modalities to educators on culturally responsive and sustaining educational practices and instructional best practices in districts and regionally;•Work with district staff and the Coordinator of DEI to support and progress local and regional DEI efforts;•Collaborate with Regional School Success Team to build responsive and strategic regional programming;•Build regional teacher and administrator capacity to facilitate curriculum and instructional planning, development, and implementation of the NYS Learning Standards to ensure equitable access for all students;•Attend, support, and facilitates relevant regional planning and advisory councils, as requested;•Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by program coordinators and Director.QUALIFICATIONS:New York State (NYS) Permanent or Professional Teaching Certification required.A minimum of three years of successful teaching or similar experience.Demonstrate current knowledge of NYS Commissioner Regulations, Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Framework, and NYSED content area learning standards for students.START DATE: September 5, 2023 SALARY HIRING RANGE: $55,250 - $65,000 (2023-2024), 10-Month position; Position follows the 10-month school calendar plus through the end of June. Works 190 days and does not accrue vacation days. (F/T positions, work 7.75 hours/day, 38.75 hours/week.
