TITLE: TEACHERS FOR 2023 REGIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAMS Location: TST BOCES Campus, 555 Warren Road, Ithaca, NY Plato Program: Approximately 12.5 – 22.5 hours per week, mornings (7/10/23 – 8/17/23) Regional High School Classes: 2 hours per day per course (7/10/23 – 8/17/23) Regional Middle Level Classes: Monday through Thursday (7/17/23 – 8/10/23) Regents Prep Classes (Global, English 11, Algebra 1B): As assigned (7/31/23 – 8/15/23, 12:15 – 2:15p) All teachers (including Middle School) will be required to assist with the administration and scoring of Regents exams on August 16th and August 17th. AREAS OF CERTIFIED TEACHING NEEDED: *Secondary Special Education*English*Math*Social Studies*Health*Science*Physical Education*Middle Level ELA and Math Depending on the program, provide summer school instruction for high school students who are seeking credit recovery through online Plato courses and/or traditional summer school courses at the high school level, and/or provide academic intervention in ELA and Math at the middle school level.QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification in subject area in which to be appointed please specify areas of interest when applying. INCLUSIVE SUMMER WORK DATES: July 10–August 17, 2023 for high school teachers; July 17 – August 10 & August 16th and August 17th, 2023 for middle level teachers.*All staff are required to attend an orientation meeting on June 12th at 3:30pm depending on the program assignment. (Each district may require a PD Day prior to the opening of summer programs–date to be determined.)RATE: ($207 per day for 2 classes from 7:45a–12:15p) OR ($103.50 per day for 1 class 7:45a–10:00a)$46.00 hourly rate paid for additional duties of Proctoring and/or Scoring Regents Exams on Aug. 16th & 17th.
