ANTICIPATED OPENING 2025-2026Business Teacher –Part-Time (.5)The Plainview-Old Bethpage Business Department is seeking a highly dedicated and collaborative individual to join our team as a High School Business Teacher. This position is a part-time position, and you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students while fostering a positive and culturally responsive learning environment.Start Date: August 27, 2025Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with course curriculum. - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning for a diverse group of students.- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and shared best practices.- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.Key Qualifications: - Motivated and passionate about teaching business.- Demonstrated knowledge in a core area of business education, including, but not limited to marketing, accounting, business law, real estate, and/or personal finance.- Enthusiasm around involvement in co-curricular activities related to the Business Department.Requirements: - New York State teaching certification in Business Education 7-12.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.Salary: As per contractDeadline to apply: Thursday, July 24, 2025
