Duties: Putnam Northern-Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a Work-Based Learning (WBL) Coordinator. This is a tenure-track full-time position.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Establishing partnerships with businesses, industries, community-based organizations, and others to increase WBL experience opportunities for students.Develop, monitor, and maintain documentation related to WBL experiences including memorandum of agreements, certificate of insurance, sign-offs from stakeholders, etc.Familiarity of CDOS Commencement Credentials and provide documentation to component districts as requested.Collaborate with CTE teachers to regularly update employability profiles.Maintain College Central Network (CCN) for jobs, internships for current and alumni students of CTE.Bring in speakers from businesses/industry/community organizations to various trade programs.Seek out businesses/industry/organization to post openings on CCN. Seek out organizations and individuals for scholarships for students.Participate in organizing workshops and logistics for Regional College Fair, Regional Union Event, and other such CTE events held on campus.Participate in recruitment fairs and give tours of all CTE programs to organizations/individuals/families & studentsQualifications: Candidate must be NYSED certified and have a Work-Based Learning Coordinator CertificationCharacteristics Desired: Candidates must possess a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, businesses and other stakeholders. Candidate be willing to travel to meet with businesses/industry/organizational partners. Knowledge of Skills USA program is beneficial, but not required. Candidate must have a commitment to the PNW BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
