Duties: Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need to teach Welding part-time to high school juniors and seniors. Candidate must be able to work with advanced students as well as students with special needs. Candidate must be able to collaborate with other Tech Center teachers to develop integrated projects, new programs and/or initiatives.Qualifications: NYS CTE 7-12 Teacher Certification in Welding or eligible for the certification is requiredCharacteristics Desired: Must have a positive, can-do attitude. Able to develop rigorous and relevant lessons in Cosmetology for a wide range of students with varying levels of cognitive abilities and collaborate with other Tech Center teachers. Prior teaching experience preferred.
