Duties:Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates a vacancy for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Duties of position, include, but are not limited to:• The ability and willingness to train teachers, teacher assistants and teacher aides in appropriate presentation ofinstruction and progression of student behavior.• The ability and willingness to model appropriate techniques that support positive classroom behavior.• Provide support to clinicians as it pertains to FBA/BIP process.• Provide regular meetings with staff members to review behavior tracking, data collections procedures, current dataand instruction of skill acquisition.• Coordinate with staff to develop a treatment plan, provide general support for families, conduct classroomobservations and provide written and informal feedback.• Respond to student crisis situations as needed.• Work closely with administration and support staff to promote a successful and a safe learning environment.Qualifications:Must have BCBA certification and NYS Certification as a School Social Worker, School Psychologist, School Counselor, or Special Education Certification to be considered.Characteristics Desired:Ability to work with students and staff. Strong background and prior work experience in a similar setting preferred. Successful candidate must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the PNW BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.Salary Range:$57,706-$96,859
