Duties: Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates a vacancy for a Coordinator of School Leadership to design professional learning for school leaders, facilitate regional leadership forums and coordinate advisory and planning committees. Additionally, the Coordinator will oversee the current continuum and development of college partnership programs and the further expansion of comprehensive leadership service offerings. Additional duties to include, but are not limited to: Providing leadership and supervising the Center for Education Leadership teamCreating new and maintaining existing partnerships programsOverseeing the budget development, forecasting, and managementCollaborating and partnering with other members of the professional learning division to create and support innovative joint projectsImplementing special projects as identified by the Assistant SuperintendentThe Coordinator will be responsible for providing overall exceptional leadership in the areas listed above as well as work closely with school districts throughout the region to identify and create future professional learning opportunities, offering and services for current and aspiring school leaders in a high quality, cost-effective manner.Qualifications: New York State administrative certification required (SAS, SDA, SBL, SDL).Characteristics Desired: Committed visionary leader that is passionate about and capable of taking the initiative to create regional partnerships as well as foster the growth and expansion of assigned programs and services. A leader with excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills, outstanding oral and written skills and strong organizational and time management skills. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
