The Special Education Teacher will provide direct instructional, evaluative, and supervisory services to all students to ensure the quality of classroom programs at the Pathfinder Village School in accordance with the Pathfinder Village mission “that each life may find meaning”. The teacher will identify strengths and needs that will lead to a comprehensive individualized education program and promote independence, inclusion, individuality, productivity, and self-determination for students.Qualifications include Master's degree in special education, NYS certification as a special educator, and familiarity with current instructional and assessment practices.
