The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging instruction, cultivate a supportive classroom community, and integrate technology and real-world applications into the science curriculum.Key Responsibilities:Develop and deliver dynamic lessons that align with NGSS standards and foster scientific inquiry anchored in engaging phenomena.Establish and maintain a classroom environment that maximizes learning and builds strong connections with students.Implement rigorous curriculum using instructional practices grounded in how students learn.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and provide appropriate accommodations as necessary.Monitor student progress using multiple forms of assessment and provide feedback to students for growth.Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and classroom experiences.Participate in professional learning opportunities. Valid Connecticut teaching certification (or eligible) appropriate to the specific assignment; or equivalent NY certification.
