The Minerva Central School has an opening for a Reading/Literacy Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. The position is a 1.0 FTE tenure track position with an immediate start date. Qualifications include:Must hold a valid NYS Reading/Literacy Certification or proof of completing an accredited NYS program and eligible for certification.Strong commitment to children.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Experience working with all levels of students.Responsible for all aspects of teaching including but not limited to the development and implementation of Next Generation Learning Standards/Curriculum, instruction, student supervision, home/school communication, etc.Have an understanding and experience with RTI, IEP, and 504 procedures.Monitor and evaluate the progress of students.Collaborate with team members, faculty, and administration.Work effectively with parents and have knowledge of resources.Advocate for students based on relevant data.Please upload all relevant materials to your OLAS account.
