The Minerva Central School has an immediate opening for an Elementary teacher (fifth grade). The position is a 1.0 FTE long-term substitute. Qualifications include:Must hold a valid NYS Teaching Certificate, or proof of completing an accredited NYS program and be eligible for certification.Strong commitment to children.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Experience working with all levels of students.Working knowledge of NYS Next Generation Learning Standards.Monitor and evaluate the progress of students.Collaborate with team members, faculty, and administration.Work effectively with parents and have knowledge of resources.Advocate for students based on relevant data.Applicants must upload all relevant materials to your OLAS account.
