REQUIREMENTS: Valid NYS Teacher certification in childhood Education (1-6) Experience teaching elementary Science and STEM Knowledge of Science Curriculum grade 3-5 Knowledge NYS Science Assessment Grade 5 Full NYS fingerprint clearance ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Assist in development of new Science Investigations course Collaborate with Science Supervisor, building administration, and grade level teams Develop lessons aligned with NYS Next Generation Science Standards Design curriculum aligned science investigations Collaborate with classroom support staff and related service providers Participate in all teacher responsibilities including but not limited to: attending meetings, parent teacher conferences, report cards, and building level PD
