Malverne School District is seeking a School Psychologist for the Intermediate School (3-5) to fill a tenure track probationary position. REQUIREMENTS: Valid certification School Psychologist Full NYS fingerprint clearance ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Counseling (Mandated) – group and individual Non-Mandated Counseling Evaluations: Complete initial and evaluations and conduct reevaluations throughout the year Committee on Special Education (CSE) Meetings: Participate in or chair meetings including initials, annual reviews, and program reviews Chair 504 Accommodation Meetings Classroom and Staff Support: provide behavioral consultation and support to teachers and related service providers Instructional Support Team (IST) Meetings Meet regularly with administration to address student behavior, classroom management, and academic concerns Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations involving elopement, aggression, SI or self-harm Liaison with Outside Therapists
