With a population of just over 300 students, Menands Union Free School District is a unique PreK-8 school and district. We are a very supportive school community, and work collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of our students in a nurturing environment. Menands School is accepting applications for a kindergarten teacher leave position commencing on or about January 30th through the end of the school year. The successful candidate must possess NYS elementary certification in kindergarten. Preference will be given to individuals who hold dual or multiple certifications and who have relevant experience; as well as those who are willing to become involved in extracurricular activities and be a contributing member of the school community.Due to the duration of this leave, the successful candidate will be placed on the teacher salary schedule and be eligible for benefits.
