With a population of approximately 300 students, Menands Union Free School District is a unique pre-K to 8 school and district. We are a very supportive school community, and work collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of our students in a nurturing environment. Menands School is accepting applications for a full time probationary ELA teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for ELA instruction in grades 6 – 8 as well as AIS instruction. Applicants must possess NYS ELA certification, as well as either elementary certification or a 5-9 ELA extension. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience and who hold more than one certification, and who are willing to become involved in extracurricular activities and be a contributing member of the school community.Qualified, interested candidates should submit via OLAS a job specific cover letter, resume and other supporting documentation.
