2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCYMulti-Tiered System of Supports INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLYPOSITIONS: MTSS Academic Instructional Coach OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION: Support the implementation of MTSS programming, assessments,and processes to be used by school-wide intervention teams in the implementation of Tier 2 and 3 readingand math interventions of identified students. The position is district-based and reports to the Director of MTSS? Conduct fidelity check of Tier 2 and Tier 3 academic interventions for students in K-6 Provide training and support to ensure proper implementation of evidence-based interventions.Assist schools in understanding screening, diagnostic and progress monitoring data (i.e. CBM) for the purpose of intervention design. Monitor and report student achievement data associated with the multi-tier assessments (e.g., i-Ready, NWEA, and CBM).Monitor Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention caseloads in each school. Attend and collaborate on MTSS meetings for students identified in need of Tier 2 and Tier 3 academic interventions. Customize and facilitate Tier 2/3 professional development in reading and math interventions based on schools’ needs. Communicate and work closely with the regular classroom teachers while assisting in the development of Tier 2 intervention for small group instruction. Have in-depth knowledge of data collection and progress monitoring for students. Develop and provide materials for/with colleagues for students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. Review and monitor effectiveness of academic intervention tools at the district level. Train and support the implementation of intervention tools districtwide. Participate in pre-referrals meetings to ensure proper data collection.Coach on intervention, progress monitoring data collection processes and MTSS procedures.
