2023-2024 School Year VacanciesDistrict Mental Health CommitteeINTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLYDESCRIPTION: Committee members will improve student access to mental health resources and assist students who have experienced trauma which negatively affects their educational experience. Committee members will provide students with access to mental health resources, support students who have experienced stress, anxiety and/or trauma, and support the adults that surround them. The committee will address inequities and provide additional availability and access to the continuum of strategies and supports that address the mental health of students through integrated mental health services and community partnerships.POSITION: (1) Representative from each schoolREQUIREMENTS: - Valid NY State Social Worker, Psychologist, or School Counselor certification required- Must have a recommendation letter from building principal. LOCATION: All schools HOURS: 4 – 6 hours per month COMPENSATION: Service Assignment IIICLOSING DATE: August 4, 2023
