This is an anticipated 7-12 Instrumental Music Teacher position for the 2025-2026 school year. General Brown CSD is seeking a passionate and dedicated Instrumental Music Teacher to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to inspire students through music and build a strong, vibrant band program within a supportive school community.Responsibilities include:Teaching instrumental music to students in grades 7-12Leading ensembles and preparing students for performancesCollaborating with faculty to support a comprehensive music programEncouraging student growth and a love for musicQualifications:Valid NYS teaching certification in Music- those nearing completion may be consideredStrong background in instrumental instruction and ensemble directionPassion for education and student successHelp us continue to make music a vital part of the General Brown experience! The next instrumental teacher will be coming on board at an exciting time with significant renovations occuring in the instrumental space and theater.
