The Florida Union Free School District anticipates an opening for a part-time Licensed Teaching Assistant. This is a 10-month position. Salary is per the negotiated agreement.Qualifications: Possess a license as a Teaching Assistant as per NYSED regulations.Experience with computerized instruction and computerized assessmentsStrong organizational, oral, and written communication skillsExperience with math instruction support preferredPossession of a 4-year degree will be preferredResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Demonstrate support and understanding of the District GoalsProvide direct support for learners in developing math skillsProvide appropriate behavioral support to students in collaboration with teachers and counselors May help out with field trips, playground, and/or lunch dutyPerforming other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or administratorApply on OLAS
